The Masaya Project is the brainchild of three freelance writers looking to give back to the communities we now live and work amongst.
Setting up fundraising channels for the micro projects we assist is always at the forefront of our minds. That led to the creation of the Masaya Short Fiction Challenge.
The idea is simple. Writers contribute their short stories to us, we select the ten best and publish these in ebook format.
Each project qualifies for it’s own ebook. Royalties are paid to the selected authors and the project benefits on an ongoing basis.
A donation of $10(US) is applicable to each entry and we limit entries to 100 per booklet. The ten winning authors will each receive $50. The categories for our current project can be found via the link below as well as submission guidelines and the other fiddly bits.
Best of luck and as ever, any suggestions to improve or streamline our processes are always welcomed via our contact page.
